A stunning, rare and one-of-a-kind Turkish Collawood pendant with a hand cut by me, round cabochon (approx. 30mm in diameter) set in a bezel with fine silver walls and a sterling silver back plate with a spiral pattern. It's finished with a brushed, matte and oxidized finish.
You can order this as just the pendant or with:
- 18" oxidized sterling silver cable chain, or
- a 3mm thick dark brown leather cord with oxidized sterling lobster claw clasp (photos 1-6). Please specify the length you want the cord to be when you check out. Note - this option may take 2-3 weeks before it is ready to ship.
The 3 bail rings are about 6mm wide inside, so if you want to put this on your own chain, please make sure it will fit through the bail.
This stone does have a NATURAL LITTLE CAVE in it. This is ok and part of the natural beauty of the stone.
Collawood is a very rare version of petrified wood from Turkey which has inclusions of copper, chrysocolla, malachite, azurite and turquoise. Petrified wood is a wonderful stone to help keep you rooted and grounded.
Silver is closely linked to the moon and is a metal of clear light, the psychic mind, loving and healing, wisdom, self-control and reflection. It is said to have calming and cleansing properties while amplifying the energy of any gemstone it comes in contact with. It also symbolizes wealth and prosperity.
Caring for this pendant: Petrified wood is soft, so please take care when wearing it. It should not be worn in the water (lakes, oceans, pools etc.) nor during rough activities.
