Payment: We accept most major credit cards with PayPal. You don't need a PayPal account to pay by PayPal.
Taxes: We charge PST on all BC orders and GST or HST on all Canadian orders.
International Orders: Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply, including the VAT in the UK and Europe. The VAT is 20-30% depending on where you are located.
Shipping Times: Ready-to-ship items will be sent with Canada Post within 1-3 days of receiving payment. Made-to-order items and custom creations will ship within 1-8 weeks of receiving payment. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Shipping Method: All creations are shipped with tracking and insurance so they are covered by PayPal buyer protection. Items usually take 2-14 business days to arrive in Canada and the USA and 5-20 days to England and Australia.
If you would like your items sent rush, by FedEx and/or with more insurance, please ask for a quote.
A tracking number will sent once your order has shipped and will also be applied to the PayPal transaction - this protects both of us.
Exceptions: We may not ship to certain countries at our discretion. We will cancel and refund your order within 5 days and notify you. We may not ship to India, Thailand, certain European, African, Central & South American, and Middle Eastern countries (please contact us first before purchase.) If you are located in the above countries, your order may be cancelled and refunded at our discretion.
Declared Value: The declared value of your item will be listed on the import/export paperwork - this is the amount you paid for your item. Your package will be marked as a 'fashion accessory'. I do not collect your country's import fees and taxes, and they are not included in your purchase price. You may be charged duty and taxes when you receive the item, and this is your responsibility - this includes the 20-30% VAT for UK and European orders. Customs fees or entry taxes are not eligible as a return reason.
Refunds and Exchanges: I hope you will love your Spiral River Design and I do my best to portray my work with natural lighting and offer an accurate description. If for some reason you do not like your Spiral River design, or it arrived damaged, please let me know as soon as possible. Depending on the problem, we may settle on an exchange or a refund. Customs fees or entry taxes are not eligible as a return reason. Custom Order and Sale items are non-refundable.
If you want to return an item (excluding custom and personalized items), you may return it unworn, in its original condition and packaging within 14 days of receiving it. Return shipping will be at your cost. Upon receiving the item, I'll refund the original amount, excluding shipping fees, a restocking fee of $30 and any taxes or duties I'm charged to receive your item. Custom Order and Sale items are not returnable/refundable.
Custom Orders: Custom orders are not refundable and require payment in full before I order materials and start work.
Ring Sizes: I am very careful to size your custom rings to the size you ordered. Please double-check the size you need before placing your order. You can do this by measuring the inside diameter (from one side to the other) of another ring you like the fit of or ask for the ring sizing tool. Please make sure the measurement is precise down to fractions of millimetres. If you are ordering a wide band please measure a wide band for fit, not a narrow band. Unfortunately, not all ring sizers measure the same size, so the inside diameter measurement is preferred to fit your custom ring.
Resizing can be as much work as creating a new ring, therefore resizing fees start at $50 for simple bands and $100 for rings with stones, plus return shipping.
Care Instructions: Please do not wear my bracelets, necklaces or earrings in the shower/water. The water/soap may cause wear & tear that can be avoided by not wearing them in the water. I am not responsible for damage caused to my creations as a result of wearing them in the water.
Rings are designed for 24/7 wear incl. shower/pool, EXCLUDING rough activities like gardening, unless stated. Chlorine tarnishes silver.
Wrap bracelets are intended to be worn with the number of wraps indicated in the listing. e.g. 3 or 6 times. Damage caused to the bracelet by wrapping it more than the intended number of times is not covered by my refund/exchange policies.
Altering my creations in any way that causes damage to them is not covered by my refund/exchange policies.
My jewelry is not designed or intended for children under the age of 13. Thanks for understanding.
Alterations Done by Someone Else: I am not responsible for the quality of my creations if someone else alters or resizes them.
Right Not to Sell (a very rare scenario): We reserve the right not to sell an item at our discretion. If you made a purchase and we cannot go through with the transaction or decide not to sell, we will fully refund your original payment method and cancel the transaction.
