Aquamarine Ring in Sterling Silver, US Size 8-8.25

A lovely aquamarine and sterling silver ring, created with a pear/teardrop aquamarine and a polished, tapered sterling silver band I hand carved in wax and had cast. It is a size 8 to 8.25 and is ready to ship. Sorry, it can't be resized. The other rings in the last 2 photos are not included.

Aquamarine represents happiness, hope and everlasting youth. In ancient times, aquamarine was thought to protect those at sea. As far back as 480 BC, aquamarine was considered to be the treasure of the mermaids because its ability to protect increased when immersed in water. Today, aquamarine is still thought to bring protection to those at sea and is a popular gift among ocean travellers. On land, it is believed to have soothing effects on couples, helping them to work through their differences and ensure a long and happy marriage. It is also considered to be the stone of courage and preparedness and is believed to help maintain balance and order. Aquamarine is often used as a ''good luck'' stone, thought to bring feelings of peace, love, joy, happiness, harmony and balance to those who wear it. If you dream of aquamarine, it is said that you will make new friends. Aquamarine is the birthstone for Pisces as well as Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Libra, Scorpio and Aquarius babies.

Silver is closely linked to the moon and is a metal of clear light, the psychic mind, loving and healing, wisdom, self-control and reflection. It is said to have calming and cleansing properties while amplifying the energy of any gemstone it comes in contact with. It also symbolizes wealth and prosperity. 

I am working with Mother Nature and natural stones, therefore exact sizes, shapes and colours vary. I take my photos in natural light to capture the true colour of my pieces. However various computer screens may change the colours. Please note that many of the stones I work with have natural inclusions that may show up as cracks on the surface of the stone. This is ok and is part of the natural beauty of the stone.
