Time is the substance I am made of. Time is a river which sweeps me along, but I am the river; it is a tiger that devours me, but I am the tiger; it is a fire that consumes, but I am the fire."

My Evolutionary Shamanic Journey in the Spiral River
I am a student and teacher of ‘evolutionary shamanism', deeply committed to stewarding beauty and light in co-creation with the everything by empowering others to do the same.

My journey has definitely been in the river, and in the past, many times upstream. It has taken me through waters both turbulent and calm, in a continual pursuit of my truest self, my authentic expression and purpose.
This journey has seen me evolve from living in personal mediocrity to being who I really am: an evolving ceremonialist, artist, activist, traveler, teacher, agent for change, a sustainable publishing consultant, and a catalyst for leading people to their passion, purpose, dreams and evolution.
The river has taught me to balance trusting my intuitive knowing and inner voice while surrendering to greater truths. The moments when I ignored my inner voice became powerful learning opportunities that have steered me toward a passionate commitment to live in alignment and create my life by honoring every aspect of my truths.
Since the mid 1990’s, I have studied pottery and yoga, studied with several Shamans, been a shamanic apprentice for more than 8 years, studied and taught Taoist Tai Chi and studied and taught sea kayaking through the BCU and CRCA. I have also received amazing coaching and leadership training from leaders in the ENGO community. Although I resisted the strict rules of some of the paths I studied, each path has given me a profound respect for 'depth in training', and taught me to appreciate a beautiful container and my ability to cultivate direct knowing. Flowing together, these paths have served to expand my awareness, help me trust my connection, and listen to and act on my intuition.
Today, the river guides me beautifully on my own evolutionary journey ~ a path of heart, inspiration, intuition and illumination, teaching and ceremony, as an expression of the art of my soul's calling, and as an offering to others. (Thank you Miguel-Angel.).
The Spiral River continues to teach me that though the ‘power’ can be in the way we find for ourselves while listening to the wisdom within, having support to build the bridges, enjoy the gentle flow, or navigate the raging torrent and back eddies always helps.
The shaman lives audaciously by daring to act differently again and again... she lives daringly and acts with inspiration in small deeds each day, knowing that this is the way to create something truly original. We’re living... in a time of great challenges that call for bold, authentic, and creative responses... We must fathom how we might let go of the old relationships, behaviors, institutions, and systems – dream something entirely new. Audacity requires us to question everything, even all that we know about ourselves.”
